Edible High Road legacy – what happened to the trees from 2012 Chelsea Fringe in Chiswick?

Edible High Road tree permanently planted at Dukes Meadows

Last year’s Edible High Road which took place down Chiswick High Road, Devonshire Road, Turnham Green Terrace during the first ever Chelsea Fringe saw a great legacy for the area. Several of the shops kept their trees, to be planted out in gardens around Chiswick. Of the rest – 4 went to Belmont School, 3 to Greenside Primary, 2 to Strand-on-the-Green School, 4 for William Hogarth School, 2 to Hammersmith Community Gardens, 2 to the Farmers Market at Dukes Meadows, and the rest to the community orchard up at Dukes Meadows.
